We are APA

Accessibility Professionals Association

The Accessibility Professionals Association (APA) provides a forum, resources, and continuing education to learn and share ideas about accessibility in the built environment. Our members include accessibility specialists, architects, interior designers, engineers, ADA coordinators, building officials, and others who work to make the world a more accessible place.

We are the premier provider of Continuing Education (CE) in accessibility standards and regulations. We offer quality training on the national ADA Standards and other current and upcoming accessibility codes and standards for any accessibility specialists, architects, designers, engineers, contractors, building owners, and other professionals. We welcome any and all professionals interested in accessibility to our organization and training sessions. We are an approved CE/LU provider for the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation (DBPR, #PVD312), the International Code Council (ICC), the American Institute of Architects (AIA), and the ADA Coordinator Training Certification Program (ACTCP). APA partners with APAC (Accessibility Professionals Association Certification Program) to provide CE credits. Members/guests can meet the CE/LU requirements of numerous organizations, including the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, by attending APA Training and verifying with organizations when a course has been registered.

Our membership is open to all individuals and organizations.
