Biography
I am an Accessibility Specialist working with REIT's, property owners, lenders, architects, and Title II government and education entities on a variety of property types including office, retail, multifamily, and community college facilities. I am a licensed Architect in the State of California, Certified Access Specialist, and ICC Certified Inspector/Plans Examiner who graduated from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona with a Bachelor of Architecture. I am currently in pursuit of the APAC-BE and ADAC. In school, I focused my energies on the treatment of historic architectural resources. Following college, working with small businesses to design and permit their tenant improvements first introduced me to the challenges that are faced when complying with accessibility codes and regulations. Through this experience, I became more curious about what the requirements are, who they are for, and how we as accessibility consultants can work to build a better world. Now, I have the privilege to work in all of my passions and apply my knowledge of accessibility to not only new construction but existing buildings, and historic remodels.
