Biography
Some people have said that I'm a bit of a visionary, and I suppose that's accurate, but what lies behind that is a passion to help others. My architectural career took a new path at the signing of the Americans with Disabilities Act in 1990. The ADA gave me a way to help others through the buildings and spaces I've helped to improve and the initiatives and systems that I've helped to develop for our clients at ETA and Corada. We help our clients to identify and remove environmental and operational barriers for people with disabilities. We've also been able to use our knowledge and analytical skills to help solve some big problems that others have not had the skills and opportunities to tackle. Personally, I've developed a love for teaching and mentoring those who would learn; and, with my direction, we've launched the Corada website to help connect complicated and scattered information with people who need it. Though a major motivating factor for me has been the desire to help remove barriers for people with disabilities, it's just as important to my clients because they reap the benefits of serving everyone better. I love what I do!
